GUWAHATI: On the occasion of the 77th Independence Day, the Assam Government has recognised the outstanding contributions and exemplary services of several officers and personnel of the Assam Police Force. The state government has bestowed Chief Minister's Special Service Medals in Crisis Situations upon these deserving individuals.
The Chief Minister's Special Service Medal in a Crisis Situation awarded posthumously, was conferred upon the late Sub-Inspector (UB) Dijen Borah of Morigaon District. This recognition serves as a testament to his unwavering commitment to duty and the ultimate sacrifice he made in the line of service.
