GUWAHATI: The Assam State Government on the State Cabinet Meeting on October 9 has given the green light for additional funding to complete the construction of a state-of-the-art office building under the purview of the Commissioner of Taxes.
An additional estimate of ₹11.91 crore has been sanctioned to cover supplementary works essential for the new office building's completion.
The upcoming office structure, designed to be a 10-storey building, will be equipped with modern amenities and advanced facilities.
Among the enhancements are state-of-the-art Local Area Network (LAN) infrastructure, a fully-furnished auditorium, a spacious conference hall, and more.
The decision also includes the re-validation of the administrative approval previously issued for an amount totalling ₹100.61 crore, valid up to March 31, 2024.
