GUWAHATI: A man allegedly killed his mother following an argument in Darrang’s Kharupetia in Assam on September 4.

The man, Ganesh Das, had allegedly been arguing with his mother over various personal issues and brutally murdered her out of rage on Tuesday.
Talking to GPlus, a police official from Kharupetia Police Station said, “ Das was reportedly an addict as people stated and had recurring quarrels with his mother over his wife, who is pregnant, post which he took this extreme step. We have taken him in and are investigating this matter.”
