GUWAHATI: The Krishak Mukti Sangram Samiti (KMSS) has floated a new political party ahead of the Assam Legislative Assembly Elections 2021.
The party has been named 'Raijor Dal', which translates to 'People's Party'. KMSS insiders speaking to G Plus earlier revealed the support of 70 organisations for the party.
This comes at a time when KMSS decided to float the party independently. Earlier, the KMSS chief called for a united regional front, however, the All Assam Students' Union (AASU) went separately.
