GUWAHATI: The death toll caused by Japanese Encephalitis (JE) reached 107 in Assam on Sunday. The latest deaths were reported from Bongaigaon and Goalpara districts.
The National Health Mission (NHM) stated that one person died in Bongaigaon while two others died in Goalpara district due to the disease.
Earlier, based on data from the health department, 469 people have been affected by the disease.
