GUWAHATI: Online applications are invited from eligible students under the PG Research Scholarship Scheme for the academic year 2023-24. The official announcement encourages aspiring students to visit the dedicated portal https://dhe-operations.assam.gov.in/scholarship for detailed information.
The scholarship scheme, applicable for Ph.D, M.Phil, and L.L.M programmes, offers financial assistance as follows:
1. Ph.D: ₹1000/- per month
2. M.Phil: ₹700/- per month
3. P.G. LLM: ₹500/- per month
General Conditions of Eligibility:
1. Students must have consistently good academic records, securing at least 55 per cent marks in the last qualifying examinations (UG and PG).
2. Admitted students in LLM/M.Phil/Ph.D/Post Doctorate Research Scholar in any recognised university for the session 2023-2024 are eligible.
3. The student must be a domicile of Assam.
4. Students must possess a valid (up-to-date) bank account, preferably in SBI, details of which should be submitted along with the application.
How to Apply: Intending students meeting the eligibility criteria must apply online between November 21, 2023, and December 5, 2023, at https://dhe-operations.assam.gov.in/scholarship. After online submission, applicants should take a printout and submit it to the Registrar/Principal/Head of the Institute along with necessary copies of certificates/testimonials.
Documents to be Submitted:
a. Certificate from the Registrar/Head of the Institution (mandatory).
b. Certificate from Research Guide/Copy of Admission receipt.
c. Final mark sheet of the last qualifying examinations (UG/PG).
d. Photograph and signature of the candidate.
e. Aadhaar Card.
