GUWAHATI: The Assam cabinet has approved several customised incentives for 12 companies that signed Memorandums of Understanding (MoUs) during Advantage Assam 2.0, aimed at industrial promotion under IIPA 2019.

Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma made the announcement following the cabinet meeting held on Monday, May 5.
The incentives will cover various sectors and have been projected to draw investments worth ₹7,730 crore, while aiming to generate 16,466 employment opportunities across the state.
Another decision from the meeting included financial relief for Pahalgam victims' families after May 12, and the expansion of the Jal Mitra scheme.
