Assam HSLC 2025 Results: Sivasagar Tops With Pass Percentage Of 85.55%, Sribhumi Lowest With 47.96%

 

GUWAHATI: Sivasagar has emerged as the top-performing district in HSLC 2025 with 85.55% pass percentage. Sribhumi recorded the lowest percentage with 47.96. The HSLC results were declared on Friday, April 11. The pass percentage is 63.98 which is lower than last year’s 75.7.

Among the top five, apart from Sivasagar are Dibrugarh (81.10%) Dhemaji (80.64%), Jorhat (79.61%), and Kamrup Metro (78.79%)

Among the bottom five,  apart from Sribhumi, are Goalpara (51.31%), Hojai (52.61%), Dhubri (54.89%) and Cachar (51.58%)

Top Performers in HSLC 2025-

1st Rank: Amishii Saikia from Pragya Academy, Jorhat secured the top spot with an outstanding score of 591 marks

-2nd Rank: Saptarswa Bordoloi of Assam Jatiya Vidyalaya, Guwahati bagged the second position with 590 marks.

-3rd Rank: Anirban Borgohain, also from Pragya Academy, Jorhat, ranked third with 589 marks.

A total of 2,70,471 students passed the examination, with 89,041 securing first division, 1,35,568 in second division, and 45,862 in third division. Additionally, 5,336 students received distinction marks, 16,517 secured star marks, and 1,68,312 achieved letter marks in various subjects.

This year, 4,29,449 candidates had applied for the examination, out of which 4,22,737 appeared.  A total of 6,712 students were absent, while results for 22 students were withheld, and 101 students were expelled during the exams.
