GUWAHATI: The Board of Secondary Education, Assam (SEBA) announced the results of the High School Leaving Certificate (HSLC) Examination 2025 today, April 11, revealing an overall pass percentage of 63.98%.
This year, boys outperformed girls, with a pass percentage of 67.59% compared to 61.09% for girls.
Jorhat-based Pragya Academy produced both the first and third rank holders. Meanwhile, Guwahati's Assam Jatiya Bidyalay secured a spot among the top three with Saptarswa Bordoloi's 2nd rank.
Amishi Saikia from Pragya Academy Senior Secondary School in Jorhat topped the HSLC 2025 examination with a score of 591 marks (98.50%). Close behind was Guwahati's Saptarswa Bordoloi from Assam Jatiya Bidyalay, Noonmati, who secured the second position with 590 marks (98.33%). The third position was also claimed by a student from Pragya Academy Borgohain who scored 589 marks (98.17%).
