GUWAHATI: The results of the Higher Secondary (HS) Examination in Assam were announced on Monday, June 27, by the Assam Higher Secondary Education Council (AHSEC).
Dhritiraj Bastav Kalita from Deomornoi HS School, Darrang secured the first position with 491 marks out of 500 in the Science stream.
Talking to the media Dhritiraj said, "I am grateful to my online coaching centre, it helped me a lot. Without the training, I would not be able to bring this result. The online coaching centre helped me complete 70% of my course. And I would like to thank all my teachers, they were always there with me."
Talking about online classes during the lockdown, Dhritiraj said that it helped him a lot. For him this lockdown became a beneficiary in the journey of success. The Internet too helped a lot in his studies.
Dhritiraj has qualified the Kishore Vaigyanik Protsahan Yojana (KVPY) entrance examination and wants to take admission in the Indian Institution of Science Education and Research (IISER) for an integrated course of bachelors and masters, as per media reports.
