GUWAHATI: The Food, Civil Supplies & Consumer Affairs Department on April 7 fixed the prices of vegetables to be sold in Wholesale, Retail and Online.
This move comes after multiple reports of vendors selling vegetables at higher rates was notified by citizens of Guwahati in the ongoing lockdown.
It is to be mentioned that from today onwards the Kamrup (M) district administration is going to start the sale of vegetables at 82 designated places across the city.
In these designated places public could purchase vegetables between 9 am and 2 pm following the social-distancing norms.
