“Eligible teachers may apply as per existing rules,” Pegu posted on social media platform ‘X.’
According to the notice, the new timeline now allows submissions up to midnight of May 20. The revised date follows the continuation of the Standard Operating Procedure dated March 17, and a subsequent notification issued under reference number E-557908/198.
The transfer process is being conducted under the provisions of the Assam Elementary and Secondary School Teachers’ (Regulation of Posting and Transfer) Act, 2020 and the 2022 Rules. The portal will remain open for online applications until the extended deadline, and applications submitted after this date will not be considered.
No offline applications will be entertained as well, as clearly stated in the notification. The online procedure has been emphasised as part of a standardised and streamlined approach for teacher transfers across the state.
Teachers eligible and interested in seeking single or mutual transfers have been advised to apply exclusively through the official portal www.hrmsassam.in.
