Assam Girls To Witness Moon Landing Of Chandrayaan-2 At ISRO HQ

GUWAHATI: Two students from Assam have received an invitation from Indian Research Space Organisation (ISRO) to witness the moon landing of Chandrayaan-2 live in its headquarters in Bangalore with PM Modi.

According to reports, Tejaswini Gajurel, who hails from Sunpura, Sardonia, Sadiya has been invited by ISRO to witness the moon landing of Chandrayaan-2. Currently she she lives at Nirjulee, Arunachal Pradesh with her Parents and studying in Kendria Vidyalya, class Vlll.

On the other hand Devaleena Hazarika, class- Vlll  a student of Kendriya vidyalaya ONGC Jorhat has also been invited by ISRO.

With the Chandrayaan -2 landing on the surface of the moon is getting close day by day, 60 students are selected from all across India who will all witness the historic landing with Prime Minister Narendra Modi. 

Earlier ISRO had conducted a 'Space Quiz' for students from the eighth to the tenth standard.
