Assam: Fuel Now Delivered To Your Doorstep In Jorhat

GUWAHATI: The Indian Oil Corporation Limited (IOCL) on Thursday, August 8 launched a one of a kind fuel dispenser which will take fuel to the doorsteps of customers in Jorhat.

Speaking to the media, Uttiya Bhattacharyya, Indian Oil Corporation Chief General Manager said that the initiative was in accordance with the permission granted by the Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas.


The delivery will be done via a fuel dispenser which would be mounted on a mobile oil tanker that will have a tanker capacity of 6000 litres which will be beneficial for bulk and industrial customers.

Bhattacharyya added that the minimum quantity to be ordered will not be lesser than 200 litres and the payment will have to be made online.

However, it should be noted that since petrol is more combustible than diesel and is not as safe to deliver, the door delivery service presently is limited only to diesel products only.
