What makes Bora’s entry into Congress noteworthy is the party's decision to grant him a ticket for the upcoming bye-election even before he formally became a member. This move is seen as a strategic step by Congress as it prepares for the crucial electoral contest. Bora's early ticket allocation has positioned him as a distinctive candidate, with some interpreting it as a sign of good fortune for his political journey.

Speaking at the event, Bora expressed his gratitude for the opportunity, acknowledging the uniqueness of his political path so far. MP Gaurav Gogoi addressed the unusual sequence of events, explaining that while Bora's early ticket is unconventional, it reflects the exceptional political circumstances that sometimes demand swift decisions.

Gogoi also expressed optimism about Congress’ prospects in the region, affirming that the Assam United Front remains strong in its efforts. He emphasised the importance of ongoing discussions and strategies aimed at strengthening the party’s position in the state.
