GUWAHATI: Environmentalist from Assam, Rituraj Phukan, has successfully completed the Arctic expedition. He was the only person to represent India as an official team member in the Climate Force Arctic Expedition 2019.
Phukan started for the expedition on June 15 last year with renowned explorers Robert and Barney Swan and several other dignitaries from across the world.
It should be noted that Phukan has been trained as a climate reality leader under Nobel laureate Al Gore and he represents Northeast India as the District Manager for ‘The Climate Reality Project India.’
