GUWAHATI: In a recent development, the Assam Government conferred the prestigious "State Award to Teachers, 2023" to 36 teachers from all over the state. The awardees were honoured at a ceremony held at Srimanta Sankardeva Kalakshetra in Panjabari yesterday, where their exceptional work and dedication to the advancement of education in Assam were recognised and celebrated.
Earlier, the Assam Government, through the Office of the Director of Secondary Education, had announced the recipients of the prestigious award. This recognition is a testament to the outstanding contributions of educators in the field of education.
Following a rigorous selection process undertaken by the state-level selection committee, a group of exceptional teachers has been chosen for this esteemed accolade. Their dedication and remarkable achievements in the realm of education have earned them this well-deserved honour.
