GUWAHATI: The Assam Higher Secondary Education Council (AHSEC) has officially released the examination schedule for the upcoming Higher Secondary (HS) examinations, set to commence on February 12, 2024.
According to the notification issued by the board, the HS exams will be conducted in two shifts. The morning shift is scheduled from 9 AM to 11 PM, while the afternoon shift will take place from 1:30 PM to 3:30 PM for papers with 30/50/60 marks. Notably, students will be granted an additional ten minutes, from 8:50 AM to 9 AM in the morning shift and 1:20 PM to 1:30 PM in the afternoon shift, specifically for reading the question paper.
In addition to the written examinations, practical examinations are slated to be held from January 24 to February 8. It is to be noted that this will be the final HS exams conducted by AHSEC as they have now been merged with Board of Secondary Education, Assam (SEBA).
