GUWAHATI: The State Level Police Recruitment Board (SLPRB), Assam, has announced that candidates who appeared in the Combined Written Test (CWT-2025) held on April 6 can now access their results for the next phase of recruitment on Thursday, May 1. The examination was conducted to fill a range of posts across multiple departments, including Assam Police, APRO, Fire and Emergency Services, DGCD & CGHG, and the Prison Department.

To check the results, candidates should visit www.slprbassam.in, click on the result link corresponding to Advertisement No. SLPRB/Rec/Const (AB & UB)/617/2023/Vol-III/128, and enter their Roll Number and Date of Birth on the login page. Once logged in, the result will be visible and can be downloaded for future reference.
Shortlisted candidates for posts listed from serial numbers (i) to (viii) will undergo Oral and Viva Voce examinations beginning May 9. Trade Proficiency Tests for posts mentioned at serial numbers (x) and (xi) will start on May 14. Practical Tests for serial number (ix) posts and the Swimming and Boating tests for Boatman candidates will commence on May 16.
Admit cards for these phases will be available on the SLPRB website from 11 AM on May 5. Before downloading, candidates must submit their post preferences from the roles they have applied for and are eligible to be considered.
To log in, candidates will need to provide their Application Number, Name, and Date of Birth.
The recruitment drive, initiated through advertisements published on October 6 2023, and January 25, covers a wide range of positions. These include 1,645 posts of Constable (UB) and 2,300 posts of Constable (AB) in Assam Police, along with 1 Constable (UB) in APRO. Backlog vacancies for Hills Tribe category candidates have also been included, with 114 posts of Constable (UB) and 1 post of Constable (AB).
In addition, 58 posts of Boatman in Assam Police and 654 posts of Driver Constable are part of the recruitment. APRO will fill 204 Constable (Communication) posts, 2 Dispatch Riders, 2 Messengers, and 2 Carpenters.
Another advertisement, dated February 7, 2023, announced 262 Constable (Communication) roles, along with positions such as Driver, Dispatch Rider, Handymen, Messenger, Carpenter, Sub-Officer, and Emergency Rescuer under Fire & Emergency Services.
The recruitment also includes 269 Constable (Grade-III) posts and 5 Havildar posts under DGCD & CGHG. Further, 12 posts of Civil Defence Demonstrator/Wireless Operator and 2 posts of Dresser are being filled. The Prison Department is recruiting for 1 Nurse, 2 Laboratory Technicians, 4 Teachers, 2 Craft Instructors, and 1 Tractor Operator.
