Assam Cabinet Forms Committee To Study Report On APSC 2013 Exam Irregularities

GUWAHATI: The Assam Cabinet in its meeting held on Monday, April 11, decided to form a 5-member committee to study the Justice BK Sharma Commission’s inquiry report into irregularities in the Assam Public Service Commission (APSC) 2013 exams. The committee will submit its report within two months.

The decision has been taken after the Cabinet examined the report of Justice BK Sharma Commission with regards to alleged malpractices in the conduct of CCE 2013 by the APSC.

Apart from 39 candidates, who have already been discharged from service, the Commission examined another 34 candidates and found anomalies of various nature.

Meanwhile in a further decision, the State Cabinet has decided to allot 3 bigha 1 Katha land in Rangia Revenue Circle for the construction of Rangia Law college.
