An official statement confirmed the total number of nominations but did not provide a detailed breakdown of candidates by constituency. The scrutiny of the nomination papers is scheduled for October 28, and candidates have until October 30 to withdraw their nominations. Voting will take place on November 13, with the results set to be announced on November 23.

The ruling BJP has announced candidates for the Behali, Samaguri, and Dholai constituencies, while its alliance partner, the AGP, will contest the Bongaigaon seat. The UPPL has been allocated the Sidli constituency.

Meanwhile, the opposition Congress is fielding candidates in all five constituencies. The political landscape has seen a division among opposition parties, with the CPI(ML) Liberation contesting one seat and the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) contesting in two.
