GUWAHATI: Assam Tourism Minister Chandan Brahma inaugurated the toll plaza of Dahalapara in Bijni on Thursday January 30. The toll plaza was reopened for the public on Thursday.
The Bijni toll plaza in Chirang district has remained dysfunctional since 2015. According to reports, some miscreants had damaged the toll plaza back in 2015.
Thereafter, the state government decided to reopen the toll plaza and it was inaugurated by the minister earlier today. A Gurugram based private company is monitoring the work of the toll plaza.
The Bijni toll plaza work has been handed over to Skylark Infra Engineering Private Limited.
