GUWAHATI: Popular Assamese actress Barsha Rani Bishaya squashed the rumours of her joining politics today, January 17 on Facebook Live. She expressed that she has no plans of joining politics right now.
“I am not aware that I will join politics. This is false news. No discussion has taken place about me joining any party, nor do I have any intention to do so right now. I have a lot of other work to do,” she said.

After the news went viral, Barsha Rani Bishaya took to Facebook to express her thoughts about the issue.
