Assam awarded 1st Prize in Category 1 (North Eastern States and Hilly region) for successfully running the Deen Dayal Upadhaya Grameen Kaushlaya Yojana (DDU-GKY) in the Year 2017-18 under Assam State Rural Livelihoods Mission.
State Mission Director, Nandita Hazarika and Chief Operating Officer (Skills), Amrit Borah received the Award from the Union Minister Rural Development, Govt of India in a National Level function celebrating ‘Aajeevika Evan Kaushal Vikash Diwas’ under the ‘Gram Swaraj Abhiyan’ campaign held at Ranchi, Jharkhand.
Chief Minister of Jharkhand was also present in the event.
