GUWAHATI: The police conducted a raid at the residence of a well-known smuggler and confiscated illicit liquor in the process on November 2.
The result of the operation was the confiscation of 428 bottles of Officers Choice Indian Made Foreign Liquor (IMFL), totalling 160.5 litre. Two individuals have been arrested in connection with the illegal activity, and legal proceedings are now underway.
