Assam: APSC Announces Combined Competitive Examination 2023 Results

 

GUWAHATI: The Assam Public Service Commission (APSC) has officially declared the results of the Combined Competitive Examination 2023 today. This announcement comes after the examination was conducted across 116 venues spread across 32 district headquarters.

A total of 67,251 candidates applied for the examination, competing for 235 posts. Notably, this year marked the introduction of OMR sheets with carbon copies for candidates, a first in the history of the examination.

Out of the applicants, 2,898 candidates have successfully qualified for the Main examination. Among the qualifiers, 719 candidates are women, while 106 and 102 candidates are qualified under the reserved categories for Persons with Benchmark Disabilities (PwBD) and Ex-servicemen respectively.

Furthermore, candidates from the Moran and Motak communities have secured positions, with one post each reserved for the ACS and APS categories for both communities.

The Main examination is scheduled to take place in the latter part of July 2024. Question papers will be available in both English and Assamese languages, allowing candidates the option to answer in either language, including Assamese.
