GUWAHATI: In a bid to foster a conducive environment for welfare activities, the Assam Cabinet has granted approval for the establishment of the Corporate Social Responsibility Authority of Assam (CSRAA) along with its accompanying rules and regulations.
This decision aims to identify critical gaps across various sectors and departments during the implementation of diverse schemes.
The constitution of CSRRA is poised to play a pivotal role in streamlining investments channelled through Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) funds. The envisioned authority is set to act as a catalyst in coordinating CSR initiatives, ensuring optimal utilisation of funds, and facilitating collaboration between public and private entities.
