GUWAHATI: An offline application for fast processing of pension-papers of retired government employees was launched by Majuli Deputy Commissioner Debaprasad Misra on the occasion of the fourth anniversary of ‘Digital India Campaign’ at Garmur.
The app is named “e-PPS” (Electronic Pension-papers Processing System).
Through this app, a retired government employee will be able to process their pension papers in a very short time.

This innovative, time-saving offline computer application was developed by a four-member team led by Assistant Commissioner Achyut Baruah in Majuli district.
The app will enable its users to electronically process their papers within just half-an hour, in comparison to the manual way which required almost five to six hours.
