GUWAHATI: All air passengers arriving at Lokpriya Gopinath Bordoloi International (LGBI) airport in Guwahati will now undergo rapid antigen test for COVID-19, the results of which will be declared within a few minutes.

If the test results negative, the passengers will be sent for 14 days of home quarantine. This was informed by state health minister Himanta Biswa Sarma during a press meet on July 11.
Earlier, all air passengers were taken to Hotel Kiranshree Grand for swab tests and then sent to institutional quarantine until the test results got declared.
