GUWAHATI: Two foreigners who were in Basistha Police custody brutally attacked a police constable in Guwahati on August 18.
According to reports, Basistha police arrested two Nigerian nationals identified as Pratik, a Nigerian national and Ibrahim Ruman of Mali from Priya Lodge in the Lokhra area in Guwahati.
When the duo were taken to medical examination, they brutally attacked a constable named Ajoy Bora on his head and tried to flee from the spot.

It is to be mentioned that police seized 30 paper bundle from the arrested personal which were allegedly used for making fake currency.
The police also recovered moblie handset from the duo which contained many objectionable
messages.
Reportedly the arrested persons were released from Central jail few months ago and doesnt have any passport.
Police also suspects the arrested duos have an association with local people of the state.
