GUWAHATI: Following the two water pipe bursts in the Kharguli and Rajgarh areas of Guwahati, another water pipe burst was reported in the Pandu area of Guwahati on Saturday.
The said water pipe was reportedly installed by Gammon India Private Limited in the Bishnumandir Pahar area of Pandu.
In the visuals received by G Plus from the local residents of the area, water could be seen gushing out of the cracked opening on the ground.
Even though no property damage or casualties were reported, the road beneath where the pipe was laid is now destroyed as an effect of the pipe burst.
A local resident while speaking to G Plus said, “The seal of the pipe suddenly busted, cracking the pipe as well as the road open. A lot of water also went to waste because of the burst pipe.”
The situation is now under control and the water has stopped flowing as of now.
