AN-32 crash: Mortal remains of 13 IAF personnel recovered in Arunachal Pradesh

GUWAHATI: The bodies of six personnel and remains of seven others were recovered from the crash site in Arunachal Pradesh after a massive search operation, said Defence spokesperson Wing Commander Ratnakar Singh in Shillong on Thursday, June 20.

According to a report by The Business Standard, the black box of the aircraft was also found on June 9 in a damaged state.

Further investigation will also be conducted by Indian Air Force to find out the actual cause of the crash, which might take more time.

The AN-32 aircraft carrying 13 personnel went missing on June 3 after it took off from Jorhat for Mechuka Advanced Landing Ground (ALG) in Arunachal Pradesh.
