GUWAHATI: The Hornbill (59 Squadron) of the Indian Air Force, in a first has landed at Tezu ALG in Arunachal Pradesh.
The Hornbills are based in Guwahati and operate both AVRO and Dornier AC. They are under the Eastern Air Command.
The Squadron participates in operations involving air, land and airdrop of troops, equipment, supplies, and support or augments special operations forces.
