GUWAHATI: The All Kalita Students Union on 14 November filed a formal FIR against Filmmaker Karan Johar and BJP member cum actor Kirron Kher in Tinsukia District of Assam.
It is to be mentioned that in a reality show hosted by the duo, 'India's Got Talent', a video was released on Karan Johar's social media profile wherein the duo was seen making comments, gestures and suggestive mockery with regards to the gifts they received (i.e. the traditional Headgear from Arunachal Pradesh and the Assamese Jaapi from Assam) from some of the contestants of the show.

The video drew massive flak against the duo and Karan Johar later issued an apology for the same. He also removed the video from his profile later.
In response to the same, the All Kalita Students Union Filed an FIR against the judges.
