GUWAHATI: Mizoram's capital city Aizawl recorded the best air quality among 119 cities in India.

Expressing joy, Chief Minister of Mizoram, Zoramthanga, tweeted several images of the scenic state saying that it’s a natural bliss. He wrote, “Mizoram’s capital Aizawl records best Air Quality Index of 14 among 119 cities. #cleanair #naturalblessing".

Aizawl recorded the best air quality out of 119 Indian cities on November 29, according to the Central Pollution Control Board (CPCB) data.
Meghalaya's capital city Shillong stands at 25 and Guwahati is considered to be one of the polluted cities in India with an Air Quality Index (AQI) of 162 as of today, December 3.
According to the chart by CPCB, AQI between (151-200) is considered to be unhealthy.
