GUWAHATI: In anticipation of India's 75th Republic Day celebrations, airspace restrictions will be enforced in the national capital, starting from January 19.
These measures are implemented to facilitate the preparations and events associated with the Republic Day commemoration.
Non-scheduled flights of both scheduled airlines and chartered flights will not be allowed to land or take off from 10:20 AM to 12:45 PM between January 19 and January 26. These restrictions will remain in effect until the conclusion of the Beating Retreat ceremony at Vijay Chowk in Delhi.
Delhi Airport took to X to put out, “Kind attention to all flyers ! As per the NOTAM (Notice to Airmen) issued for Republic Day week from 19th to 26th Jan ‘24, no flights would be arriving or departing from Delhi Airport between 10:20AM to 12:45PM IST. For updated flight information, passengers are requested to get in touch with the concerned airline."
