GUWAHATI: In a major reshuffle announced on Wednesday, November 6, the following changes have been made by the Department of Personnel.
Adil Khan, IAS, Deputy Commissioner, Bongaigaon has been transferred and posted as the new Commissioner of Transport, Assam and has been given additional charge as the State Project Director, Assam Inland Water Transport Development Society.
Sources speaking to G Plus confirmed that Virendra Mittal is deputed to Delhi and will the P.S to Minister of State, Rameshwar Teli.
In other changes, S. Oinam Sarankumar Singh, IAS, Deputy Commissioner, Tinsukia has been transferred and his services are placed at the disposal of the Industries and Commerce Department for posting him as MD, AIDC.
Dr. Sadnek Singh, IAS, Additional Deputy Commissioner, Kamrup (Metro) has been transferred and posted as Deputy Commissioner, Bongaigaon.
Bhaskar Pegu, ACS, Deputy Commissioner, Baksa has been transferred and posted as Deputy Commissioner, Tinsukia.
Ranjan Sarma, ACS, Additional Secretary to the Govt of Assam, Home and Political Department has been transferred and posted as Deputy Commissioner, Baksa.
