92 COVID-19 Patients Discharged Today all Over Assam

GUWAHATI: Assam government today discharged 92 COVID-19 patients after they tested negative for COVID twice.

Taking to the social media platform of Twitter, Assam State Health Minister, Himanta Biswa Sarma announced, "92 patients have been discharged today after they tested negative for #COVID twice."

Out of these, 46 persons were released from Kalapahar; 22 from Mahendra Mohan Chowdhury Hospital (MMCH), Guwahati; 13 were released from TMC, Tezpur; 7 were released JMCH, Jorhat; 2 were released from FAAMCH, Barpeta and 1 each from SMCH, Silchar and AMCH, Dibrugarh.

In total, 277 Covid-19 patients have so far been discharged from Assam's healthcare facilities. 1106 cases remain active as on June 1.
