GUWAHATI: The Assam government through the Department of Higher Education, Assam announced that it will be distributing appointment letters to Assistant Professors on July 5. The announcement was made on June 29.
A total of 79 Assistant Professors in Provincialised Colleges and 12 Assistant Professors in Government Colleges will receive their appointment letters during the ceremony, which will be held in Guwahati.
The State Education Minister, Ranoj Pegu took to Twitter to put out, “In continuation of the mission of #OneLakhJob by HCM @himantabiswa led Assam Govt, @higherednassam will distribute Appointment Letters to Asstt. Professors - 79 in Provincialised Colleges and 12 in Govt. Colleges on 5th July 2023 at Guwahati. Congratulations to all the candidates.”
