GUWAHATI: Assam state Finance Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma while presenting the final budget of BJP led Government on March 6 said that 57,617 Km of State highways will be transformed under the 'Asom Mala Scheme'.
Presenting the budget the minister said that Rs 250 Crore will be spend for upgradation of Industrial Roads in 7 districts and 1000 timber bridges to be converted to RCC structures.
