550 Kg Of Illegal Burmese Supari Seized In Hailkandi

 

GUWAHATI: In a naka checking operation conducted by the police of Bilaipur Police Station, a vehicle without a number plate was intercepted, leading to the discovery and seizure of a substantial quantity of illegal Burmese supari in Hailkandi on November 8.

Upon inspecting the vehicle, the authorities found it to be loaded with ten sacks of illegal Burmese supari, with an approximate total weight of 550 kilogram. Additionally, one individual has been taken into custody in the context of the bust.

Hailakandi Police took to X to put out, “During naka checking by Bilaipur PS police, one vehicle without number plate was intercepted. The vehicle was found loaded with 10 sacks of illegal Burmese supari weighing approximately 550 kg which were recovered and seized.”
