GUWAHATI: A team from Gorchuk Police Station seized 52.35 grams of heroin during a raid at a hideout in Katabari on Sunday, May 4, acting on specific intelligence inputs.

During the operation, police arrested Mahidul Bhuyan, a resident of Barpeta, and recovered 40 vials of heroin from his possession. The suspect was taken into custody at the scene.
Legal action has been initiated against Bhuyan, and further investigation is ongoing.
