GUWAHATI: The Guwahati police seized around 50 kgs of Psychotropic substances WY (World is Yours) from the area behind ISBT, Guwahati on July 7.
According to police, the drugs were seized from a hideout in Inter-State Bus Terminus (ISBT) and were destined for Siliguri via Guwahati.

Police arrested two persons who were accused of being involved in the case. The duo have been identified as Kamruz Jaman and Amir Khan.
They were arrested after receiving inputs that a huge consignment of intoxicating tablets was dispatched from Manipur by a vehicle to Siliguri via Guwahati.
An investigation into the case is currently underway.
