4 Repatriation Flights Expected to Land at Guwahati Starting Tomorrow

GUWAHATI: The chief secretary of Assam, Kumar Sanjay Krishna, took to Twitter to announce the expected arrival of four repatriation flights. 

“Four repatriation flights are expected to land in Guwahati Airport between 27th May to 5th June, 2020. The flights scheduled to arrive next week are from Ukraine, Moscow, Philippines and Kuwait,” the official tweeted.

Indians stranded across various countries are being repatriated under the Centre’s ‘Vande Bharat Mission.’

Over 800 Indian citizens stranded abroad were repatriated on four flights from Doha, San Francisco, Melbourne and Sydney on Monday.

The government had earlier issued a fresh Standard Operating Protocol for homebound journey of Indians from 40 countries and for those stranded in India, willing to travel abroad.
