GUWAHATI: In a reshuffle, the Assam Home Department has transferred and posted several senior police officials in the state.
A. Y. V. Krishna, Addl. Director General of Police (CID, STF & BIEO) has been relieved from the additional charges of the post of Addl. Director General of Police (STF).
Krishna will continue to function as Addl. Director of General of Police (CID), Assam, and Addl. Director General of Police, BI (EO).
Akhilesh Kumar Singh, Inspector General of Police (STF) has been transferred and posted as Inspector General of Police (T&AP).
Dilip Kumar Dey, Inspector General of Police (Western Range) has been posted as Inspector General of Police (STF). He will continue to function as Inspector General of Police (WR), Bongaigaon.
Prasanta Kr. Bhuyan, Inspector General of Police (L&O, STF & Northern Range), has been relieved from the additional charges of the post of Inspector General of Police (STF). He will continue to function as Inspector General of Police (L&O and Northern Range) until further orders.
