3 day car rally for AMT vehicles

Maruti Suzuki organized a three day adventure rally in the city for Automated Manual Transmission (AMT) vehicles. This was an event aimed as a myth buster that AMT vehicle are not favourable for off-road driving. Maruti Suzuki organized this rally where the vehicles were plying through a track that has a combination of heavy traffic, uphill drive and extremely rough road conditions, conditions not suitable for walking either.
Maruti Suzuki provided four of their cars viz. Alto K10, WagonR, Swift Desire, Celerio and allowed participants to test-drive these vehicles in the aforementioned track. They also awarded gift vouchers worth Rs. 500 as a token of participation. The event was organised at Khanapara Indoor Stadium.
