GUWAHATI: The Special Task Force (STF) seized a consignment of UREA and DAP Fertilizer from Hajo, Assam on Friday, August 30.

The operation led by Inspector Sankar Jyoti Nath intercepted a vehicle in Singimari, under the jurisdiction of the Hajo police station. The vehicle was found to be transporting a significant quantity of contraband.
During the search, the STF team discovered a total of 250 bags of UREA hidden beneath 250 bags of DAP fertilizer. The UREA, which is manufactured by IFFCO, was concealed to evade detection.
The driver of the vehicle has been detained, and authorities are in the process of initiating necessary legal actions.
