GUWAHATI: A considerable consignment of cannabis was seized today at the Guwahati Railway Station by the Government Railway Police (GRP) along with the apprehension of the individual in its alleged possession.
According to official information, the GRP recovered three packets of cannabis weighing around 23 kg during checking at Rajadhani Express on Friday morning.

Talking to GPlus, SRP Assam, Debashish Bora said, “The narcotics was found in the possession of Upendra Kr Goswami, from Bihar. The man was travelling from Dimapur to Patna.”
Legal proceedings have been initiated as we await further details.
