GUWAHATI: The Sonapur Police in the Ri-Bhoi District of Meghalaya arrested a 22-year-old man named Biru Boro from Nongkorla, Byrnihat, on October 3.

He was apprehended near 15th Mile Byrnihat under various Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS) sections.
During the arrest, police recovered 20 mobile phones suspected to be stolen, along with the scooty Boro was riding. The scooty and its key will undergo further investigation.
As per the police, Boro received the stolen phones from thieves and snatchers active at the Khanapara flyover.
Further investigations are ongoing.
