16 Bangladeshi Infiltrators Arrested In Assam’s South Salmara

GUWAHATI: Sixteen illegal Bangladeshi nationals, including seven men, four women, and five children, were apprehended by South Salmara Police on Monday, December 23 after travelling from Bengaluru to Guwahati Railway Station. The group had then moved towards the South Salmara Mankachar district in Assam.

Following a thorough investigation, it was confirmed that the individuals were from Bangladesh.

The detained individuals include Zakir Sk, Md Mehdi Hasan, Rumana Aktar, Md Rizwan Hawaldar, Jamal Sk, Beauty Begum, Munni Begum, Nushrat Zahan, Rustom Sk, Rubel Qureshi, Chand Mia, and five children.
